Laser works by targeting melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. Blonde hair has low melanin, so results are limited (dark blonde may respond). Red/ginger hair has very low melanin with minimal effectiveness. Grey/white hair has no melanin, so laser doesn’t work. For light-coloured hair, electrolysis is the alternative.
